The agreement between you and yamma for using the app — what we provide, what we don't, and what's expected of you.
In short
yamma is provided by Yamma Money Ltd (company number 17397219, registered in England and Wales), registered office Unit A, 82 James Carter Road, Mildenhall, IP28 7DE, United Kingdom — full contact details in Contact below.
You need to be 18 or over and able to enter into a binding agreement to use yamma.
By creating an account you confirm you are at least 18 years old and legally able to accept these terms.
Yamma shows you what's happening with money you already hold elsewhere; it doesn't hold funds, move money, or give regulated advice.
yamma is a personal finance app that reads transaction data you connect (currently a Google Sheet you pick; from Phase 2, bank accounts via Fena) and turns it into budgets, forecasts, and insights.
You're responsible for your login and for anything that happens under your account.
Access is via Google sign-in. You're responsible for keeping your Google account secure and for all activity under your yamma account. Tell us straight away if you suspect unauthorised access.
You choose what to connect and can disconnect at any time; accuracy depends on the source you connect.
Today, this means picking a single Google Sheet via Google Picker — we only ever read that one file. yamma computes budgets, forecasts, and insights from whatever data is in it, so accuracy depends on that source being correct and up to date. You can pause or permanently disconnect any data source at any time from Settings.
Use yamma for its intended purpose — don't try to break it, abuse it, or use it for anyone else's data without permission.
You agree not to:
Pro is a paid subscription (monthly or annual) processed by Stripe; it renews automatically until you cancel, and you can cancel at any time from Settings → Billing.
Current pricing is shown on our Pricing page. Payments are processed by Stripe, our payment processor — yamma never receives or stores your card details directly.
Pro subscriptions bill automatically at the start of each period (monthly or annual, whichever you choose) until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from Settings → Billing → Manage subscription, which opens Stripe's secure billing portal. Cancelling stops future billing but doesn't retroactively refund the current period; you keep Pro access until the end of the period you've already paid for.
If a payment fails, Stripe automatically retries it over the following weeks. Your Pro access continues during that retry window; if every retry fails, your account reverts to Basic — no data is ever lost, and you can resubscribe at any time.
We aim to keep yamma accurate and available, but — like any software — can't promise it'll be perfect or uninterrupted.
yamma is provided "as is" and "as available." We don't warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that calculated outputs (budgets, forecasts, affordability checks, debt payoff projections) will be perfectly accurate — they're estimates derived from the data you've connected and can be wrong if that data is incomplete or delayed.
We're not liable for financial decisions you make based on yamma's outputs, or for losses beyond what's reasonably foreseeable and legally allowed to limit.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that can't be excluded by law (e.g. for death, personal injury, or fraud), and nothing here affects your statutory rights as a consumer under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 — including the right to a service performed with reasonable care and skill. Subject to that, we're not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for financial decisions you make in reliance on yamma's calculated outputs — these are informational, and you remain responsible for your own financial decisions.
You can leave whenever you like; we can suspend or end accounts that break these terms.
You may stop using yamma and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms, poses a security risk, or where required by law, with notice where reasonably possible.
We'll update the date and version at the top of this page whenever these terms change, and flag material changes more prominently.
Continued use of yamma after a material change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
These terms are governed by, and construed in accordance with, the law of England and Wales, and the English courts have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
Questions about these terms go to the same address as everything else legal.
